The boy often calls me by my first name, which I do not mind. I call him by his first name, too.
I replied, "Aw, that's so sweet. Thank you. You're the bestest Silas ever in the whole wide world."
"Thanks, David. And you know what?"
"What?"
"You're the bestest toy buyer in the whole world."

Like most others unhappily devoid of (human) children, typically pictures and stories about OPCs (other people's children) trigger my gag reflex, but not yours. I like how you treat The Boy like a little peer. That's how I'll treat my (human) children if I so happen to have one or more before my uterus dries up and rots out of my body.
